The Los Angeles Taxpayers Association works on state and local levels in California to promote sound tax and regulatory policy.

President Aidan Chao recently put together an extensive coalition in support of the Taxpayer Protection Act initiative. According to Chao, the association was created to “hold government accountable.”

Their current and biggest battle is fighting Assembly Constitutional Amendment 13, which makes it easier to raise taxes and erode the safeguards of Proposition 13, and support of the California Taxpayer Protection Act”
